It’s early in the morning and I forgot to close my window last night so I’m freezing my ass off in bed. I’m lying there, not really asleep but not fully awake either, waiting for the alarm clock to ring and wake me up for my workout before I start the workday. The anticipation is killing me, but I know if I wake up and take a look at the time I’ll be even more disappointed. So I just lie there with my eyes closed waiting for this stupid thing to ring, and I ask myself … [Read more...]
Train with the pros – Killer Arms Superset Workout
Here is a quick and effective superset arm workout performed by 2 of my MuscleCook sponsored athletes: Pro Fitness Models Honore Levesque and Lucas Couturier. For those who are not familiar with a superset is, it's a series of two exercises performed with no rest between sets and a normal rest interval between supersets. Supersets increase training intensity by reducing the average length of rest interval between sets. Personally it is one of my favorite ways of training! … [Read more...]
High Protein Peanut Butter Crepes
Last week, my good friend and coaching client: Pro Fitness Model Honore Levesque, invited me for breakfast and cooked me one of his favourite recipes: High Protein Peanut Butter Crepes. I have been coaching Honore for about 3 years now. And he keeps improving year after year. When I first started working with him, he was pretty much clueless about nutrition. He had been working out for a few years, but just couldn’t see the results he wanted. You can see from the picture above … [Read more...]

Well my friends, it’s been one heck of a weekend… As you might know, I competed in the Atlantic Canadian Bodybuilding Championships. I’ve been training for more than a decade now and during that time, I … [Read more...]
Low-Carb Breakfast : Turkey Bacon Scramble

As you know, I am now 10 weeks out of my next Bodybuilding competiton... Needless to say that my diet is very strict right now. When I get prepared for a show, I usually go on a High Protein/High Fat/Low Carb type of diet. This type of diet always worked for me in the past and I got "shredded" with this type of meal plan... Most of my meals are composed of lean protein and veggies... Not only you need veggies in your diet (no matter if you are trying to build muscle or lose body fat), but … [Read more...]
